When you submit a moving estimate request, we collect:
Your walkthrough video is uploaded directly and securely to Google Cloud Storage using an encrypted HTTPS connection. Videos are stored in a private, access-controlled bucket. No one can access your video without authentication.
Your walkthrough video is analyzed using Google Gemini, an AI model provided by Google LLC. The video is sent to Google's AI infrastructure to identify furniture, room types, and property-access conditions for the purpose of generating your moving estimate. Google processes this data as a sub-processor under our agreement with them. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
A human estimator at the moving company associated with your request may review the AI-generated results and your video to verify accuracy before your estimate is finalized and sent to you. Only authorized company staff can access your video.
Your walkthrough video is retained for up to 60 days after your estimate is completed, unless a longer retention period is required to provide requested services or comply with legal obligations. After 60 days, the video is permanently deleted from our systems. Other information (name, contact details, estimate results) may be retained for longer periods for record-keeping and customer service purposes.
We only use your video for AI model training or evaluation if you explicitly consented to this when submitting your request. If you did not check the optional AI training consent box, your video is used solely to generate your estimate and is never included in any training dataset.
To request deletion of your personal information or video before the 60-day retention window, contact us at privacy@trailagent.ai. We will process your request within 30 days.
When we make material changes to this policy, we update the version date shown at the top of this page. The version you agreed to is recorded with your submission.
